Distress Offset Stamping

Another great technique from Creative Chemistry Day 1!  I have to say when I started this process for the below tag, I didn’t like how it started out, but wow, it’s now one of my favorites so far!  Tim taught about stamping in a light colored ink like antique linen.  Then using distress inks to water color in the images.  Once the images are filled in they will look sort of unfinished since they really have no visible outlines.  The last step was to stamp a bit offset in a dark color.  This technique is going to get a lot of use in my studio!

Colors used: antique linen, hickory smoke, tea dye, faded jeans, chipped sapphire, fired brick, aged mahogany and Archival black.
