Father’s Day Offerings

Father’s Day was quiet this year in my family since so many were out of town, but every dad still gets a handmade Dreamwood’s Butterfly card in my world so I just wanted to share the cards I made and how they fit so perfectly to the men in my life.  I’d love to see what you guys made out there!

This card was made for my son the mechanic.  I grunged up the background a bit to resemble a tool box and added some gears which I made by using acrylic medium and all sorts of inks to distress them a bit; since he works on escalators and elevators they were a nice touch.

This card was made for my brother in law who enjoys reading.  I truly enjoyed making this one.  I chose various printed card stocks that would resemble old books and added distress inks to age them a bit.  Thought the sentiment was placed well too.

This card was made for my brother, the watch lover.  OMG, my brother owns so many watches it’s ridiculous!  (But probably not more than all the craft supplies I own, so no judgement here!).  This was officially my first time using a digi stamp.  I found the stamp of the watch online and gave it a go, and I have to admit it was so easy and fun, since I sized it exactly the way I wanted it!  I see more digi stamps in my future for sure.

Hope you enjoyed!
